Delivery and Returns Terms and Conditions

These Delivery and Returns Terms and Conditions govern all purchases made through the Digital Armor (Pty) Ltd online store (“Digital Armor”, “we”, “us”, or “our”). By placing an order on our website, you agree to these terms and conditions.
1. DELIVERY POLICY
1.1 Delivery Areas
Digital Armor delivers throughout the Republic of South Africa. Deliveries outside South Africa may be arranged upon request and are subject to additional shipping charges, customs duties, taxes, and import regulations applicable in the destination country.
1.2 Processing of Orders
- Orders are processed during normal business hours, Monday to Friday, excluding public holidays.
- Orders are only processed once full payment has been received and cleared.
- Orders placed after business hours, on weekends, or public holidays will be processed on the next business day.
1.3 Delivery Timeframes
Estimated delivery times are as follows:
- Major metropolitan areas: 1 – 3 business days
- Regional areas: 3 – 5 business days
- Remote areas: 5 – 10 business days
These delivery times are estimates only and may vary due to courier delays, weather conditions, stock availability, public holidays, strikes, or circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
1.4 Delivery Charges
- Delivery charges are calculated during checkout based on the delivery address, package size, and shipping method selected.
- Free delivery promotions may apply from time to time and will be communicated on our website.
1.5 Delivery Address
Customers are responsible for providing accurate delivery information.
Digital Armor shall not be liable for delays, failed deliveries, or additional costs arising from:
- Incorrect delivery addresses;
- Incomplete information;
- Unavailability of the recipient; or
- Failure to provide access to the delivery location.
Any additional delivery charges incurred due to incorrect information provided by the customer shall be for the customer’s account.
1.6 Delivery Acceptance
Upon delivery:
- Customers must inspect the package for visible damage.
- Any shortages, damage, or discrepancies must be reported within 24 hours of receipt.
- A signed proof of delivery shall constitute confirmation that the goods were received in acceptable condition unless otherwise reported within the prescribed period.
1.7 Risk and Ownership
Risk in the goods passes to the customer upon delivery and acceptance of the goods at the delivery address. Ownership of the goods remains with Digital Armor until full payment has been received.
2. RETURNS POLICY
2.1 General Return Conditions
Returns will only be accepted if:
- The goods are returned in their original condition;
- The goods are unused and undamaged;
- All original packaging, manuals, accessories, warranty cards, and proof of purchase are included;
- The return request complies with these Terms and Conditions.
Digital Armor reserves the right to refuse returns that do not comply with these requirements.
2.2 Online Cooling-Off Period
In accordance with applicable South African electronic transaction legislation, customers purchasing goods online may cancel an order within seven (7) days of receiving the goods, provided:
- The goods are unused;
- The goods are returned in substantially the same condition as received;
- The customer notifies Digital Armor in writing of the cancellation.
The direct cost of returning the goods shall be borne by the customer unless otherwise agreed by Digital Armor.
2.3 Defective or Faulty Goods
If goods are defective, damaged, unsafe, or fail to perform as reasonably expected, customers may return the goods in accordance with applicable consumer protection legislation.
Where applicable, Digital Armor may:
- Repair the goods;
- Replace the goods; or
- Refund the purchase price.
The appropriate remedy shall be determined in accordance with applicable South African law and manufacturer warranty conditions.
2.4 Incorrect Goods Delivered
If the customer receives:
- The wrong product;
- An incomplete order; or
- Goods materially different from those ordered,
Digital Armor must be notified within 48 hours of delivery. We will arrange collection and either:
- Deliver the correct product;
- Replace the item; or
- Issue a refund.
The cost of collection and replacement delivery in such cases will be borne by Digital Armor.
2.5 Non-Returnable Items
The following products are non-returnable unless defective:
- Software licenses and digital products that have been activated or delivered electronically;
- Special-order or custom-built products;
- Products specially procured at the customer’s request;
- Consumables that have been opened or used;
- Products with damaged, missing, or altered serial numbers;
- Products that have been physically damaged due to misuse, negligence, or improper handling.
2.6 Refund Processing
Approved refunds will be processed using EFT and banking details may need to be provide by sending us proof of banking details not older then 3 months.
Refunds are generally processed within:
- 7 to 15 business days after approval of the return; and
- Subject to banking institution processing times.
Shipping and delivery fees are non-refundable unless:
- The incorrect product was supplied;
- The goods are defective upon delivery; or
- Digital Armor has expressly agreed otherwise.
3. RETURN PROCEDURE
To initiate a return, customers must:
- Email: info@digitalarmor.co.za
- Provide:
- Order Number;
- Invoice Number;
- Full Name;
- Contact Details;
- Reason for Return;
- Photographs (if applicable).
No goods may be returned without obtaining a Return Merchandise Authorisation (RMA) number from Digital Armor.
Unauthorised returns may be refused and returned to the customer at their expense.
4. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
Digital Armor shall not be liable for:
- Delivery delays caused by third-party couriers;
- Losses arising from incorrect delivery information provided by customers;
- Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages;
- Loss of business, revenue, profits, or data resulting from delayed delivery or product unavailability.
Our maximum liability shall not exceed the purchase price paid for the affected goods.
5. GOVERNING LAW
These Delivery and Returns Terms and Conditions shall be governed and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the Republic of South Africa.
Any disputes arising from these Terms and Conditions shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of South Africa.
